One thing about me is that I always have music playing - pretty much from when I wake up in the morning to when I go to bed, and hell half the time I fall asleep listening to music as well. Even at work, when I'm just working by myself, I'll have one earbud in with some music playing. I think I'd go mad if I wasn't!

I like a lot indie/folk, especially Bon Iver and Hozier which I'm aware make me sound like a total hipster but I love the sounds.

So today I want to share one of my favourite Bon Iver songs which is Holocene.

Holocene was the second single from their second album Bon Iver, Bon Iver. It was nominated for song of the year at the 2011 Grammy's.
Justin Vernon has said that it's partly named after the geological era, but it's also a metaphor for when you're not doing well. It's also a song about redemption and realizing that you're worth something; that
you're special and not special at the same time.

This made me laugh out loud, but I know what you mean. I often think that about some of my musical choices as well.

Going to have a listen to the song, because I love listening to lyrics and finding meanings in the music I listen to.
